The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is the follow up to the stylish Vivaz with an added slide out QWERTY keyboard. With the addition of a keyboard Sony Ericsson has downgraded the camera resolution from 8 megapixels to 5 megapixels. However it's still capable of 720p HD video recording and features touch focus, image stabiliser, face and smile detection, LED flash and geo-tagging. What stands out for the Vivaz Pro, beside the excellent video recording capabilities, is the 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen with scratch resistant coasting. It has a 16:9 aspect, which is great for movies, it also has handwriting recognition and an accelerometer.
For social networking the Vivaz Pro comes with integrated Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. It runs on the Symbian S60 OS and includes GPS with G-Maps and WisePilot for turn-by-turn navigation. The Vivaz Pro also has an FM radio, Bluetooth, media player, 3D gaming and memory expandable. The QWERTY keyboard adds just 20g compared to the standard Vivaz and the depth increase from 12.5mm to 15mm. For a full-sized QWERTY slider, the Vivaz Pro is notably compact.
