Sagem Mobile Phones (Without Deals!)
Sagem stands for Societe d'Applications Generales de l'Electricite et de la Mecanique (which translates as Company of General Applications of Electricity and Mechanics). Formed in France in 1925 the company has been involved in electronics fields as diverse as developing the telex printer through to military avionics and of course mobile telecommunications. Until 2008 the company developed an exciting range of mobile phones, before selling off this division of the organisation.
During their time of heavy involvement within the mobile phone industry Sagem developed an array of successful and technologically accomplished mobile handsets including the Sagem myX-8 and the joint venture Porsche mobile phone handsets.
