QTEK are not so much an autonomous company, but a brand name utilised by HTC prior to the international launch of products bearing their own name. There were an abundance of QTEK mobile phones released prior to the widespread uptake of Android by their Taiwanese parent company.

Popular QTEK handsets included the QTEK 8500 which was the first flip mobile phone to utilise Windows Mobile 5 and the QTEK 9600 which boasts a slide out large sized QWERTY keyboard. Given the massive success HTC have experienced under their own brand name - it is unlikely that any future QTEK mobile phones will ever surface.
