With a funky square design the Nokia X5-01 combines a great selection of fun and amusing features with all the expected run of the mill features for a Symbian (S60) smartphone. A stereo FM radio makes full use of the extra loud speakers whilst the MP3/MP4 player uses gesture controls, like spin to play a random track, to bring a highly entertaining experience to the user.
Social networking sites are fully integrated and a full range of messaging options (SMS, MMS, email with document viewer & instant messaging) are complimented with a slide down QWERTY keyboard for easy message creation. Gesture controls appear again here with a handy shake to read unread messages.
The Nokia X5-01 boasts a large 2.36 inch TFT display that can be operated in landscape or portrait modes and works well as a viewfinder for the 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. The internal memory can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card to accommodate for large quantities of pictures, videos and music files.
The full range of connectivity options includes Bluetooth, 3G HSDPA Web browsing, Wi-Fi and quad-band roaming. The Nokia X5-01 offers a full range of features and then shows off with its comes with music package and gesture controls.
