LG have compromised on some features to produce a phone that appears to be high end, but is priced in the mid range. The LG Pop is a quad band mobile phone with GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth v2.1 connectivity. 3G and Wi-Fi are unfortunately missing from this handset. The large 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen (240 × 400 pixels and 256000 colours) extends almost to the edges of the LG GD510 with a narrow 4.8 mm bezel giving the illusion of an uninterrupted sheet of glass. The LG GD510's sleek design is accented by a single button on the face that functions as the menu, end and cancel keys. A slim strip of light around the button shines either green or red to indicate the handset's function. The LG GD510 is crafted from brushed aluminum which gives it a high-end look and feels solid in the hand even when squeezed. The main features of the LG Pop GD510 mobile phone include: accelerometer sensor for auto rotate, vibrate alert, polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones, speakerphone, 42MB internal memory, microSD card slot, HTML web browser, stereo FM radio with RDS, music player (supports MP3, AAC and WAV formats), video player (supports MP4 and H.263 formats), voice memo, T9 predictive text and an optional solar panel. The LG Pop GD510 mobile phone weighs 87 grams and is 11.2 mm thick (full dimensions 97.8 × 49.5 × 11.2 mm). It supports a stand-by time of up to 360 hours and a talk time of up to 3.6 hours.
