The Samsung S5230 is a quad band mobile phone with GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and USB 2.0 connectivity. It has 50 MB if internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 16 GB). It sadly lacks 3G and Wi-Fi, but is much lighter and has a larger screen than the original Samsung F480 Tocco. The Samsung S5230 has a large 3 inch colour TFT display (240 × 400 pixels and 256000 colours) with an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate, handwriting recognition and gesture lock. It's slim body incorporates a 3.15 megapixel digital camera with smile detection and face decection to help you capture the perfect photo of your family and friends. Video clips on the Tocco Lite can be recorded at QVGA (15 frames per second). The Samsung Tocco Lite uses online widgets to ensure users can keep their FaceBook status up to date, log on to their Myspace page or browse YouTube for the latest videos. The interactive TouchWiz interface lets you customize your home screen by dragging and dropping widgets you use most.
