The Nokia E75 is Nokia's first mobile phone to ship with the company's new email user interface which gives people the most efficient solution for accessing the worlds consumer and corporate email on the go. "Efficiency is about doing more with less and focusing on what's truly essential," says Kai Oistamo, Executive Vice President at Nokia. "With direct access to Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes, companies can potentially save up to a third of their operating costs as there's no need for middleware or additional servers." "With the Nokia E75 we took a lot of inspiration from the Nokia 9300, which was our first mini communicator," adds Oistamo. "Owners of the Nokia 9300 loved the messaging functionality a full keyboard provided, but also used the traditional phone keypad a great deal. With the Nokia E75 we kept these essential ingredients, significantly upgraded all of the features and made it as compact as possible." The Nokia E75 mobile phone is a quad band handset with 3G (HSDPA - 3.6 Mbps) for fast internet acces, GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and microUSB 2.0 connectivity. It comes with 50 MB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 16 GB using a microSD card (a 4 GB microSD card is included with the mobile phone). The E75 has a Symbian OS S60 operating system, powered by a ARM 11 369 MHz processor. The Nokia E75 mobile phone features a slide out full QWERTY keyboard making email on the move easy. The E75 is a compromise between utility and size. It is not as slender as the Nokia E55, nor as slim as the E71 - with which it shares a similar specification and could be considered a direct alternative. The Nokia E75 has a crystal clear 2.4 inch colour TFT display (240 × 320 pixels and 16 million colours) with an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate - perfect for web browsing!. The camera and multimedia functionality is not the main feature of this mobile phone, however, it is still reasonable with 3.2 megapixels, autofocus, video record and dual LED flash. There is a decent video player (supports MP4 formats) and music player (supporting MP3, eAAC, AAC and WMA formats) with an FM radio with RDS and 3.5 mm audio jack. Other features of the Nokia E75 mobile phone include: vibrate alert, polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones, speakerphone, secondary VGA videocall camera, games (N-Gage compatible), GPS receiver (with A-GPS support), voice memo and T9 predictive text. The Nokia E75 Black mobile phone weighs 139 grams and is 14.4 mm thick (full dimensions 111.8 × 50 × 14.4 mm). It supports a stand-by time of up to 280 hours and a talk time of up to 5.5 hours.
