The Sony Ercisson W715 Walkman combines clear audio with the latest mapping technology in one mobile package - exclusive to Vodafone. Sony Ericsson announced recently that customers will be able to use the GPS enabled W715 Walkman phone to make the most of location based services. Aside from the standard turn by turn navigation available with satellite navigation, customers will be able to find their nearest restaurants and hotels all within a few clicks on their mobile phone. The Sony Ericsson W715 is built on the same technology as the Sony Ericsson W980 Walkman mobile phone. It features crystal clear sound, TrackID music recognition, SensMe for matching your mood to the music and Shake Control to change tracks with the flick of a wrist. "The W715 is another exciting exclusive for Vodafone customers. The seamless integration with Vodafone?s Music services, such as single or full album download, provides for a great overall experience on our fast and reliable network. With fully integrated GPS and Vodafone Find&Go, this phone is offering a very attractive feature set in a combination we know customers are asking for more and more", said Patrick Chomet, Global Director of Terminals at Vodafone. The Sony Ericsson W715 is a quad band mobile phone with 3G (HSDPA - 7.2 Mbps), GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and USB 2.0 connectivity. It has 120 MB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 4 GB with a Memory Stick Micro or M2 card. The Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman phone is much more than a music phone. It has a metal finish with a large 2.4 inch colour TFT (240 × 320 pixels and 256000 colours) screen in an elegant and compact slider for a professional feel. The inclusion of a 3.2 megapixel digital camera with LED flash, video record and geo-tagging takes great pictures. Other features of the Sony Ericsson W715 Silver mobile phone include: vibrate alert, polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones, accelerometer sensor for auto rotate, speakerphone, secondary video call camera, RSS feed reader, WAP web browser, stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS receiver with A-GPS support, Walkman 3.0 music player (supports MP3 and AAC formats), video player (supports MPEG4 format), YouTube service in media center and motion gaming. The Sony Ericsson W715 mobile phone weighs 98 grams and is 14.3 mm thick (full dimensions 95 × 47.5 × 14.3 mm). It supports a stand-by time of up to 400 hours and a talk time of up to 10 hours.
