The BlackBerry Curve 8900 mobile phone on O2 600 BlackBerry gives you 600 anytime minutes and 3000 text messages per month. Tariff includes unlimited data / internet use, subject to fair use policy. Line rental is £44.04 per month. 16 months half price line rental saving £352.32 over a 18 month contract. In effect your average line rental after cashback will be £24.47 per month.

16 months half price line rental cashback is a redemption offer where you will be refunded the difference at set points throughout your contract. You will be asked to provide copies of your bills simply to prove that you are still paying for the contract.

18 month contracts are redeemed in 5 equal stages at months 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18. Discounted line rental/cashback is subject to you remaining on the original tariff with the original handset and mobile number connected for at least the minimum term of 18 months. All monthly network bills must be paid in full and on time.

Offer includes one month free insurance to cover your new BlackBerry Curve 8900 (also know as the BlackBerry Javelin) mobile phone against accidental damage and theft. The cost of insurance thereafter is £7.99 per month. Cover can be cancelled at anytime which will take immediate effect.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is the latest addition to the BlackBerry Curve range of mobile phones. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 features a slimmed down design when compared to the BlackBerry 9000 Bold, however, it still has a full QWERTY keyboard with trackball navigation.

The Curve 8900 doesn't support 3G, although it's a quad-band handset with GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Wi-Fi, miniUSB and Bluetooth 2.0. There's a bright, clear 2.4 inch colour TFT display (480 × 360 pixels and 65000 colours) and 3.15 megapixel digital camera with flash, autofocus and video record. BlackBerry have Incorporated a built in GPS receiver (with A-GPS function) together with BlackBerry Maps.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 supports push email meaning you can receive both work and personal email directly on the mobile phone. An instant messaging application will help you stay in touch on the move.

The BlackBerry Javelin has some great multimedia capabilities. There's audio support for 3GP, WAV, MIDI, AMR-NB, G711u/A, GSM610, PCM, MP3, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+ and WMA9/10. Video support includes DivX, XviD (MPEG4 Advance Simple Profile), H.263 and WMV3.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 mobile phone weighs 110 grams and is 13.5 mm thick (full dimensions 109 × 60 × 13.5 mm). It supports a stand-by time of up to 15 days and a talk time of up to 5.5 hours.
