Samsung F500 - Coming soon to the UK
The Samsung F500 is an unusual dual-faced phone with a twist - literally. Let's begin with the dual-face. One side of the F500 there is an music and video player with a multi-directional pad and a large 2.4 inch colour display, which can be viewed in both portrait and landscape modes. On the other side is a much smaller colour display, a numeric keypad and some navigation keys as you'd expect to see on a traditional mobile phone. The Samsung F500 has a twist design so it can be placed on a flat surface for viewing videos in landscape mode. It's only 11mm thick and still packs in a display on each side plus a massive 400MB of internal memory, which is impressive stuff. The Samsung F500 is an extremely versatile media player. It can handle all popular audio and video files such as MP3, WMA, MPEG4, WMV, H.264 and even Divx video clips. There's a USB connector for transferring files from your PC or laptop and the F500 also squeezes in a 2 megapixel camera and 3G. This really is an impressive spec for such a tiny phone.
