The Samsung U700 is a 3G version of bestseller, the U600. It's a sleek slider with an ultra streamlined profile, measuring 12.1mm. Don?t let the U700's sleek styling dazzle you into overlooking the fact that this is a highly specified and very able phone - Samsung have managed to pack a generous array of features into the U700's super slim body. The screen is of particular note, a very ample 2.2 inch display makes the U700 perfect for video calls, web surfing, multimedia applications, and checking email while on the move. The QVGA screen can also be used for showing off print quality snaps taken with the U700's top-notch 3.2 megapixel camera which features autofocus, LED flash, and TV-Out port. There's also a secondary VGA camera located above the screen, which can be used for making face-to-face video calls. 40 MB of internal memory is provided, though this can be upgraded up to 2GB using MicroSD memory cards, ideal for storing MP3 tracks for use with the phone's media player. Downloads are very fast using HSDPA (3.5G), while wireless connectivity with other devices is enabled through Bluetooth. Further functionality is on offer in the form of an FM radio, video recorder, and full suite of personal productivity tools. Overall the Samsung U700 is undoubtedly one of the thinnest 3G slider phones on the market, no compromises have been made in achieving its streamlined profile - the handset is packed with functionality.
